Who is Muffy Wilson in her own words?
I am a wife, mother, daughter and sister first and an author of provocative romance about love, sex, hope and passion second. I was born in Texas to traditional parents. With two older brothers, I was the youngest, the family "princess," indulged and pampered. My father was a career Colonel and pilot in the U.S. Air Force which required our family to travel extensively. I spent her formative years in Europe and 'came of age' in France (a state of affairs that gave my father much cause for concern one loooong summer on the Italian Riviera!) which forged my joie de vivre and love for books, writing and education.

What is one thing you would like the world to remember you for?
I am a simple person. I would like to be remembered as a good person, loving wife and nurturing mother. I never met a stranger nor turned anyone away that needed help. And I have tried hard to learn from my mistakes but I am not always successful in that endeavor!

What got you into writing?
An old boyfriend from high school. We reconnected after all these years and he writes real estate self-help books. I took a significant departure from self-help to provocative romance.

Are you a full-time author or do you have a day job as well, 
and if so, what do you do?
When I first started writing fiction in 2010, I was still working as a General Showroom Manager for Ethan Allan and then Robb & Stucky, both high-end furniture companies. I entered the world of real estate sales as well, but I have since retired and devote most of my free time to writing and anything that will keep me from doing any housework!!

You’ve written a lot of other books. Is Erotica the only genre you write in? And if yes, how do you keep doing it? I got bored after one book… How often do you need to take masturbation breaks (if any)?
OMG, that was funny! You surprised me with that one!! Actually, in the beginning most of what I wrote was short stories and I took plenty of masturbation breaks! Now my books are more story than sexual content. I get bored with the repetition and in truth, our lives do not revolve around sex but are complimented by it. What is more important is the human bondage that precedes a sexual liaison that I find most interesting. Like you, I have branched out but sex is still a fundamental part of the human condition after all, people are enigmas.

Finally, what can we expect and look forward from you in the future? Plug away…
Last year was a very busy year from me. I worked very hard and produced a number of wonderful stories I was honored to have featured in several collections. I wrote several standalone features and a few series. Much of my new work has been a real leap of faith for me into the Paranormal and Sci-Fi-Shape Shifter genre. It has been fun and a real stretch for me. 2017  will prove to be an even bigger year for me as I have six books and collections releasing in the first six months. Gus was asked a slew of questions during an in depth interview with Rukia. Here is just one Q & A from that interview. 
Q: Any tips on how to get through the dreaded writer’s block?

A: Honestly, write something else. Anything at all. You can't get truly blocked unless you stop completely. Sure the story you have been focusing on for months suddenly stalls. No need to fear. Just prime the pump of creativity with some other ideas. Do the paint chip trick (look it up on Pinterest). Look online for story prompts(also Pinterest). Take your characters and put them in strange and unusual scenarios that would never come up in the world you created for them. Write something off the wall like a race of people that aren't carbon based but cocoa based (I call them Fudgelians). If all else fails do some dishes. That always works for me. Don't believe me? Come to my house and wash them. You'll see.

This novel is set in the pre-WWI years, and the author does a beautiful job of setting the scene, especially in the care she takes with the descriptions of the landed gentility and the growing in roads the automobile makes into the British countryside. While there are a number of scenes involving love-making and sensuality, they are well-written and appropriate for an adult audience. Enjoy A Sample from Chapter 21
     Catherine continued on her way to her greenhouse, grateful she’d not run into Titus. She liked to think of him as Titus, not Lord Braithwaite, which somehow seemed too formal. He made her feel things. Things she hadn’t felt in years, and she resented him for it. She wanted him gone from Chatterwoods and her life back to being the way it was before the dinner party.

     She spent a very satisfying morning taking care of her plants and working on a new scent she was trying to create. It was almost there, but something was missing. She had to go through the oils she had in her small apothecary to see if there was anything there she could use to enhance the scent.

     Exhausted from the events of the previous night and everything that had taken place, including Titus entering her room, Catherine left the greenhouse and proceeded to go to her room. A long soak in her tub was what she needed. Catherine found it both a pleasure and a torture to soak in the tub. It reminded her so much of Cameron. He used to love to bathe her or use the bath water after her. She missed all these things about him. Everything about life excited him, and he had infected her with that excitement. It was like a contagion. Now that he was gone, she missed that excitement. 

     It was almost time for supper, so she got dressed, left her room, and was making her way to Suzan’s room to check up on her when she came face to face with Lord Braithwaite, walking out of Cameron’s room. Two things hit her at the same time. She could have sworn she saw Cameron walking out of his room. Rubbing her eyes, she looked again, but it was only Titus Braithwaite. He didn’t look like Cameron, except in their well-developed musculature, so how could she have mistaken the two? But all this aside, why was Lord Braithwaite still at Chatterwoods?
